Our Doctors

El Paso Pediatric Associates’ doctors are all Board Certified Pediatricians and have admitting privileges at The Hospitals of Providence Memorial, Sierra, Transmountain, and East campuses, Las Palmas Medical Center, Del Sol Medical Center and El Paso Children's Hospital. Our doctors are on call 24-hours a day along with our 24-hour nurses hotline.

Dr. Joseph Segapeli

Dr. Joseph Segapeli

Dr. Segapeli has been with El Paso Pediatric Associates since 1987. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1981 and his pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in 1984. Between 1984 and 1987, he was a pediatrician with the U.S. Army.

Dr. Rodriguez has been with El Paso Pediatric Associates since 1991. She completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1987 and her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1991.

Dr. Coleman has been with El Paso Pediatric Associates since 1998. He completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1994 and his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine then Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1997.

Dr. Rana Kronfol

Dr. Kronfol has been with El Paso Pediatric Associates since 2006. She completed her medical school training at the American University of Beirut in 1997 and her pediatric residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in 2000. She came to El Paso after working at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston in the Emergency Department and serving as the fellowship co-director for pediatric hospitalists. Dr Kronfol serves on the board of Providence Children's hospital, The Paso Del Norte Children's Development Center, the El Paso Symphony and more recently The Stern Foundation. Her husband and 2 children are proud to be El Paso transplants! 

Dr. Allison Wawer-Chubb

Allison Wawer-Chubb, DO, joined El Paso Pediatric Associates in January 2019. A native of New Jersey, she graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ in 2008. She has practiced in general pediatric groups in York,
PA and Red Bank, NJ prior to relocating to El Paso with her family in 2016. Dr. Wawer-Chubb also has pediatric urgent care experience in both California and Texas. When not working, she is excited to explore the desert southwest with her husband, Paul, and 2 boys, Cole and Connor, their boxer, Bacchus.

Dr. Lindsey Herrera

Dr. Herrera joined El Paso Pediatric Associates in August 2021. She received her Bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Austin then earned her medical degree at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. Dr. Herrera completed her pediatrics residency with Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. Although she has lived all over the state, she is excited to finally be a permanent El Pasoan! On her days off, Dr. Herrera loves to try new restaurants and spend time outdoors with her husband and 2 daughters.

Deborah Sample has been with El Paso Pediatrics since 2000 as a nurse and completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training at Texas Tech in 2016. She is also a certified breastfeeding specialist and can help with your lactation needs.  

Priscilla Aguilar-Hernandez

Born and raised in El Paso, Priscilla has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years including as certified nursing assistant, a registered nurse and now a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2005 and Masters of Science in Nursing in 2019. Outside of work, Priscilla spends her time caring for her 2 children and husband and loves spending time reading and crafting between busing the kids to their games and practices.
