Congratulations from the doctors and staff of El Paso Pediatric Associates!
We are committed to keeping your child healthy and we understand how hard it is to find the right pediatrician to care for your child.
This is why we invite all new parents to tour our offices and become familiar with our doctors. We'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding medical care for your baby.

Newborn Care
If you are expecting, you will want your baby to be examined following his/her arrival. Please contact our office prior to your expected delivery date to provide us with some important information and to discuss any concerns you may have.
Generally, babies are to be seen by a pediatrician at 3-4 days of age. A newborn exam often includes a review of the delivery record, a head-to-toe examination of the newborn, as well as blood tests and proper immunizations. We will also be glad to answer any questions you may have about breastfeeding, feeding schedules, and other matters concerning caring for your baby once you return home.
For more information about breastfeeding, you can also contact:
- A Lactation Consultant (at the hospital you will be delivering)
- The Baby Cafe
- La Leche League
We are transitioning to a new telemedicine system- NO anytime pediatric visits.
For emergencies that are life-threatening, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Minor Emergency Treatment
We are available to address minor emergencies. Our nurses are available 24 hours a day.
During regular office hours, we can treat minor emergencies such as:
- small cuts and lacerations
- burns
- minor fractures
- eye injuries
- foreign bodies in ears and nose
- high fevers
- vomiting and dehydration
After-Hours
For other after-hour minor emergencies, please call the office to speak with a nurse or pediatrician. They can help you decide if your child needs to be seen right away, or if it can wait until the following morning. If you are sent to the emergency room, please contact us the next day so we can follow-up on treatment and determine if your insurance requires a referral for the ER visit.
Even when our offices are closed, virtual visits for children are available through our KidzDocNow app. Download the app today!
